Dragon Voice is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Yuriko Nishiyama. It follows the story of Rin Amami, a 14-year-old street dancer with a harsh-sounding voice. His chance encounter with the idol singing group Beatmen opens the path to the music industry for him. The head of the idol agency believes that Rin's voice is the legendary 'Dragon Voice'. The manga was serialized in Kodansha's shōnen manga magazine Weekly Shōnen Magazine from 2001 to 2003 and collected in 11 tankōbon volumes. It was licensed in North America by Tokyopop. The series explores Rin's journey as he strives to become a singer and fulfills his dream.
