Citizen Dog is a 2004 Thai romance film directed by Wisit Sasanatieng. It is based on a novel by Wisit's wife, Koynuch, and is frequently compared with the French movie Amélie. The story is set in contemporary Bangkok, where a boy without a goal in life falls in love with a girl who lives for her dreams. The film explores the theme that people will only find something when they stop looking for it. It has been distributed outside Asia by Luc Besson.
