Captive Hearts is a Japanese shōjo manga series written and illustrated by Matsuri Hino. It centers on the relationship between university student Megumi Kuroishi and heiress Suzuka Kogami and the curse that has bonded their families together for the past 100 generations. The series explores their journey to break the curse and find a way to live happily together. Originally serialized between 1999-2002, Captive Hearts has gained popularity and was listed among the top 10 shōjo properties. The manga has been published in 5 tankōbon volumes and has been licensed for English release by Viz Media. It has also been adapted into a drama CD with improved audio in 2018.
